Aralub 4846
Aral Aralub 4846 is a high pressure thread grease produced in accordance with the API BUL 5 A3 regulation of the API (American Petroleum Institute). It contains solid lubricants which are free of heavy metals in accordance with the API's evironmental regulations. Aral Aralub 4846 is applicable as a lubrication and sealing grease for the screwing together of oil field pipes namely casings and tubings. After the manufacturing of the tubes in the factory, as well as during transportation and storage, appling Aral Aralub 4846 will reduce corrosion on sensitive precision threads. Furthermore it is useable for the screw fittings on drill pipe threads. The screw fittings factor is =1 compared to a grease in accordance to API BUL 5 AMP 3.
